Company Background

Longway Avenues (LA) Care Ltd is a Social Care Provider based in Greater Manchester with offices in Heywood and St Helens. We provide Housing Support for people with Learning Disability and enduring Mental Health diagnosis. The organisation was established in 2021 and regulated by CQC in 2022. We operate Supported Living, Live in care and Domiciliary Care.

The company provides Care:

As defined by Schedule 1 of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2019.

Regulated bespoke 1:1 person-centred supported living service to people between the ages of 18-65.

Support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Services that meet the requirements set out in the Real Tenancy Test and Registering the Right Support.

Our Values

Dignity and respect:

We also take time to listen to people, plan provisions for personal care and evaluate progress thereof with client or relatives where the client has no capacity.

Virginia Ncube

Director & Registered Manager

Virginia is a qualified and Registered Social Worker with Social Work England with an extensive background in the health and social care sector and voluntary sector. Passionate about advocating for the rights of adults at risk and supporting vulnerable individuals in improving their quality of life.
She has 35 years’ experience of front line of working with young people and adults with complex needs including mental health problems, mild / moderate learning disabilities, dual diagnosis, dementia and substance misuse. This includes five years of being a CQC Registered Manager of a home care and supported living service provider.

Linda Ncube

Director

Linda is a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and has 16 years’ experience of frontline working in Adult General Hospital, mental health services in the community. He
has spent the last two years caring for patients in Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments, acute medical units and Endocrine departments. Linda has particular interest in leadership, codesign, new models of integrated care and a more person centred approach to care and treatment.
